Do I need to pay anything when I drop off my vehicle?
No, you will only need to sign an authorization to repair and guarantee to pay form.
Does the shop receive payment from my insurance company or do I pay for the repairs and then receive reimbursement?
If your vehicle is being repaired under the direct repair program within your insurance, you will only have to pay your deductible (if applicable) when you pick up your vehicle. If a direct repair program is not available, the payment arrangements will be discussed before the vehicle is repaired.
Do estimates cost anything?
No, the on site estimate is absolutely free and takes about 20 minutes.
How long will my repair take?
This is dependent on the severity of damage on your vehicle. We are able to better evaluate the repair time after an estimate is written and the repair hours are calculated. We estimate that we can physically work on your vehicle for about 5 hours per day. This includes dry times of paint and other materials. Parts availability for your vehicle also plays a major time factor in calculating the repair time.
Can someone take me home/work after I drop off my car at your shop?
Absolutely! Please let our customer service representative know, and we'll make sure we have someone to shuttle you.
Will you start my repairs immediately after I drop off my vehicle?
Most often yes. If you have dropped your vehicle off without prior arrangements, we may have to order parts and then proceed with the required repairs.
How do I get a rental vehicle?
We can set up all reservations for you.
Do I need to get three estimates for the insurance company?
No, that's a common misconception. You can take your vehicle to the repair facility of your choice and get an estimate. The repair facility and your insurance company will negotiate the repair fee. Carriage Case Collision is already an accepted repair facility for most major insurance companies. What this means is that only our estimate is needed to begin repairs on your vehicle. They have entrusted us with writing an estimate within their guidelines and scheduling your vehicle in for repairs.
Will my vehicle be as good as it was before the accident?
We guarantee pre-accident condition after the repair of your vehicle is performed. Our technicians are extremely well trained in the use of our state of the art repair equipment and methods.
Are the collision repairs guaranteed?
All repairs performed at Carriage Case Collision are warranted for as long as you own your vehicle.
